🤖 Understanding and choosing an EA
What is an Expert Advisor (EA)?
An EA is a program that automatically applies a strategy’s rules on a compatible trading platform. It is an execution tool: it does not remove market risk or guarantee an outcome.
Do the robots work in every market?
No. Each robot is designed for specific markets, symbols, and settings. Read its catalog entry and check compatibility with your broker and platform before use.
Which markets do the catalog EAs cover?
Imperator Scalper supports compatible Deriv Volatility and Volatility (1s) indices on MetaTrader 5. Check that the symbols are available in your Deriv account before installation.
Can I run multiple assets with Imperator Scalper?
Imperator Scalper supports up to 20 different assets simultaneously per MT5 terminal. Stay within this limit and test the settings on a demo account first.
🖥️ Compatibility and installation
Do I need MetaTrader 5?
Imperator Scalper requires MetaTrader 5. We recommend testing the EA on an MT5 demo account before using it on a live account.
What equipment do you recommend?
Imperator Scalper runs on a Windows 10/11 PC, Linux with Wine, or a VPS; a VPS is not required. If you choose a VPS, plan for at least 2 vCPUs and 2 GB of RAM. A stable connection is required in all cases, and MetaTrader 5 must remain open.
How do I install and configure a robot?
Imperator Scalper comes with installation and configuration guidance and .set presets. Check the symbol, account, and risk settings before launching the EA. Contact support if you have questions.
Can the robots run unattended?
The EA runs while MetaTrader 5 is open and the PC or VPS stays connected. A VPS is optional, but a computer shutdown or connection loss will stop execution. Regularly monitor the platform, logs, and risk limits.
📊 Settings and monitoring
Are the settings the same for every broker?
No. Symbol names, execution conditions, and account features may vary by broker. Use only settings compatible with your environment and ask support for guidance if needed.
Do you provide backtests?
Backtest materials are available on request. Historical results depend on the data, period, and settings used; they do not predict future performance.
What does Imperator Scalper do when Max drawdown is reached?
The robot blocks new entries when the account drawdown reaches the limit configured in its settings, which is 40% by default. Existing positions remain open and are not closed automatically.
💳 Licenses, support, and risk
What are the prices and rental periods?
The three plans are listed in the Licenses section: 90 days for $279, 180 days with priority support for $449, and 365 days with onboarding for $669. The rental period starts at first activation. Each license allows one MT5 demo account and one MT5 live account; additional accounts are not permitted.
Is trading with an EA risk-free?
No. Automated trading can lead to significant losses, including the loss of your invested capital. Technical safeguards cannot prevent all risks related to the market, broker, or service interruptions.
Do the robots guarantee profits?
No. No return or profit is guaranteed. Past results and backtests do not predict future performance. Only trade with funds you can afford to lose.
