This Privacy Policy explains how Trade-Empereur collects, processes, stores and protects users’ personal data (the “User”). It is intended to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local laws.
2. Data Collection
We collect only data that is strictly necessary, including when you create an account, subscribe to the newsletter or use the Site’s services. This may include identification data (first and last name, email address), login details and usage preferences.
For an ImperatorScalper rental, the customer’s email address is used to send the key, compiled file and manual, and to handle support requests related to the order. To verify the licence and enforce its duration, MetaTrader 5 sends the account number, broker server name, account type (demo or real) and key to the licence server over HTTPS. The rental period starts on the first online activation. The Site stores the key hash, licence duration and dates, associated account identities and types, and events needed to manage the licence; the licence database does not store the key in plain text. Transactional emails and their attachments are sent through the Site’s SMTP provider.
3. Purposes of Processing
Collected data is used to operate the services, provide access to restricted areas, send informational and promotional communications, and continually improve the services. Data is not processed for purposes unrelated to the User’s legitimate interests.
The email address used to deliver an ImperatorScalper licence is used to fulfil the order and provide related support; it does not subscribe the customer to the newsletter. Activation data is used to verify the rental period, identity and type of the two authorised MT5 accounts (one demo and one real), and the licence status.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
Trade-Empereur does not disclose personal data to unauthorised third parties. Data is shared only with carefully selected partners directly involved in providing the services (such as payment providers or certain brokers), and only to the extent necessary. Data may also be disclosed where required by law or regulation.
For licences, the email address, transactional message and attachments are sent to the SMTP provider for delivery. The MT5 account number and type, server and key are processed by the Site’s licence API to validate activation and the rental expiry date.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve browsing, analyse traffic and personalise content. Users can disable these technologies in their browser settings, although some Site features may not work as intended.
6. User Rights
Under the GDPR, Users have the right to access, correct, erase and restrict the processing of their data, to data portability, and to object to processing. You may exercise these rights by submitting a written request through the Contact page. Trade-Empereur will respond within the applicable legal time limits and handle each request diligently and transparently.
7. Security and Retention
Trade-Empereur implements technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described and in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Licence-related data is retained for as long as needed to administer the licence, secure the service and address obligations or requests related to the order. Keys are sent to the customer by email, but only their hashes are stored in the licence database. Requests to access, correct or erase data can be sent through the Contact page. Some data may need to be retained where applicable law requires it.
8. Changes to this Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect legislative, regulatory or technological changes. Material changes will be announced by publication on the Site and will take effect when posted.
